05/07/2019 Brace Yourself. We bring you “Whim Wine” For Your New Summer Wine Experiences.

Tired of playing the same old drinking games? Don’t worry. This summer, it's going to be different. Put your guard down & brace yourself for a new wine game - which is going to put your curiosity and pleasure at stake.

How To Play

Take some time to stroll the aisles of a wine shop on a holiday - especially the aisles you don’t find yourself at on the usual. Rather than taking a straight shot and grabbing what you know already, go crazy with your pick. Pick the bottle off the shelf, feel the weight, shape and hover over the details of the wine for a moment. Go for something that is unfamiliar to you.

People with wine

Never heard of Chambourcin? TRY IT.

Didn’t know they produce wine in, say Nigeria, or India? That's the grape for you to taste this holiday. If you are lucky enough to find a wine from an unfamiliar place, GRAB IT.

Have you always wondered what’s all the fuss about organic wines but have never been experimental enough? TASTE IT and decide for yourself.

While at it, if you find a recognized wine brand that is now offering wine in a can? WHY NOT GIVE IT A SHOT?

Basically, look for something that caught your eye - is unfamiliar & is completely new and experimental. That is how you win “Whim Wine” game.

The goal of the game is to be whimsical about your wine choice, put your guard down, relax, and just have fun with it.

“Whim Wine” allows you to explore wines from new places, unusual taste, and it just might happen that you find your new favourite while at it.  If not that, at the very least, playing “Whim Wine” will add to new conversations at your dinner table or just anywhere.

CAUTION: The only thing to keep in mind while playing this game is - DO NOT OVERTHINK. Being curious and being educated are two different things. Sure, you may or may not learn new things along the way but if you do, it will be a happy coincidence, not the goal. The goal is to experience new nose, and a new flavour on the palate.
